Z-Profile for Pass Door
Aluminum Z-profile for use as a frame component in sectional door pass door installations. The Z-profile cross-section creates an offset transition between two panel surfaces — in a pass door assembly it forms the weather-resistant lap joint where the door panel edge meets the pass door frame, preventing air and water infiltration at the perimeter gap. Used alongside the CH-PD01 U-profile to form the complete frame assembly around the walk-through opening. Aluminum construction provides the necessary combination of strength, light weight, and corrosion resistance for an exterior door frame component. Required for any sectional door pass door installation built to a weather-sealed standard.
