27” Spring Bumper
27-inch torsion spring bumper fabricated from 2.5mm steel, sized for commercial and high-lift sectional door applications where the spring tube length exceeds that of a standard residential door. Commercial and high-lift doors use longer torsion springs to accommodate the additional door panel travel — the 27-inch bumper length is matched to these extended spring tube configurations. As with all spring bumpers, the CH1302B mounts on the torsion shaft between the spring and the center bearing plate, acting as a hard stop to prevent the spring from over-traveling beyond its rated deflection under load or during cable failure. Using a correctly-sized bumper for the door height and spring tube length is critical to safe system operation — do not substitute with an undersized bumper on commercial or high-lift applications.
