Small Spring Bumper
Compact-profile torsion spring bumper fabricated from 2.5mm steel for residential torsion spring systems where the available shaft space between the spring end and the center bearing plate is limited. The CH1302C provides the same over-travel prevention function as the standard CH1302A and CH1302B bumpers — acting as a mechanical stop on the torsion shaft to prevent the spring from exceeding its designed rotation limit — in a smaller overall size suited to tighter header clearance or shorter spring configurations. The 2.5mm steel thickness maintains the structural integrity needed to stop spring over-travel without deforming under the load. Select the bumper size based on the spring tube length and available shaft space for the specific door installation.
